Important Availability Info
We need to ensure that we have adequate supply of Killer Bee magnets to build our chassis for the foreseeable future.At this time (May 9th), we are making 2,500 sets available for individual sale.
Due to the relative difficulty of importing these magnets, along with the added costs of tariffs (they all didn't go away) and increases in shipping rates, we have done away with quantity discounts.
The price per set is $8 (these have been $8/set for the past 5 or 6 years), and there is a limit of 25 sets per person, every 30 days.
This does not mean I'll have magnets available every 30 days. Read on.
I have no idea how long it will take to sell through 2500 sets, I suggest you get them while you can.
There is no guarantee that we will have magnets available at all times.
After this 2500, we hope to have more available in the Summer, but there is no guarantee that will happen.
We will continue to order these throughout the year but there is no guarantee that our orders will be filled, or that they can be exported. If relations break down again (further) with China, it might make getting magnets more difficult.
Things have changed a lot since January 2025 regarding exporting magnetic materials from China.
