Hot Rod - Body and Chrome Kit*
All parts are injection molded in ABS, Includes roll bar. (for roadster) window frame, roof (for Coupe) and side pipes. Roll bar, window frame and side pipes are chromed. Color roof is molded in ABS. Body shell is molded in ABS and the color is molded in.
Body colors available are Red, White, Blue, Yellow, Black and Grey.
You will receive all the parts needed to make the Roadster and the Coupe. Driver figure is not included. Sorry.
Body screws are not included.
IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING THIS KIT!!!
Assembly is required. The holes on the body shell are tight and will need to possibly be opened up with a small needle file for the parts to fit.
If using the roll bar, do not force it in the holes, the tabs easily snap off.
Please see the picture of the underside of the body with the pipes in place. The pipe tabs are long. These are best melted into place so the tabs can be melted close to the body. Otherwise glue, and trim. If untrimmed, the tabs will interfere with the chassis.
If using glue, DO NOT use super glues. They will possibly 'haze' the chromed parts. Weldbond is a good glue to use. Avilable at Michaels and Hobby Lobby, and probably DIY home improvement stores.
The body shell comes unpainted, the color is molded in. You will need to paint in the interior and grille if want these areas to be 'finished'.
*Chrome parts and roof can also be used for replacing Aurora original Hot Rod parts
